Researchers Night 2006 (25-1-2007)

On 22 September there was held Researchers Night 2006 at the faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology. One of the points of the program was presentation of our game.

The idea of the "Researchers Night 2006" emerged last year due to the European Commission who has initiated "Researchers in Europe" event. The conception is to tell others in a bit humoristic way that science doesn't need to be tedious and boring. What is more, it can be truly very fascinating and can become many people's life passion. "Researchers Night 2006" was held on Friday night 22 September in the whole Europe.

Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science being one of the 35 organizers of the event in the United Europe want to make students, graduates studying and finding a job on the Old Continent. As a faculty with broad international contacts its authorities know very well that European scientists are very valuable for contemporary world. The only problem is the fact that there are too few of them. According to the report of European Commission if Europe want to become closer to the technological level of the United States, the number of researchers should grow in a number of thousands each year.
