Artifex Mundi
Artifex Mundi 2018 – The New Opening

Games coming up this quarter

A noir detective-themed adventure, brand new quests for the Demon Hunter, the fight to free a kingdom from the grips of a dark knight, and the return of Davy Jones and the Preacher on consoles. Artifex Mundi also plans to release its first title on Nintendo Switch and is looking to introduce a subscription-based model for Google Play users. The first quarter of 2018 promises to be exciting!

Noir January

Artifex Mundi begins its publishing year with the atmospheric, detective-themed adventure game Noir Chronicles: City of Crime. It’s a mature crime story full of dark puzzles and romantic subplots destined for adult gamers. Will detective Fox find the stalker of his old flame? You’ll find out by the end of January by playing on Steam or mobile platforms.

The Grand Finale of a Cult Adventure Series on Consoles

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users are in for a treat in Q1 of 2018. The final chapters of the two most popular Artifex Mundi trilogies that need no introduction will debut on consoles: Nightmares from the Deep 3: Davy Jones will debut at the beginning of February, and Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala will launch in mid-March.

Follow-Ups and a New Series

In the second part of February, we will meet the heroine from Demon Hunter – a woman who hunts creatures from other dimensions for living. In Demon Hunter 4: Riddles of Light she will face the dark powers dwelling in the ruins of ancient Egypt. By the end of March, the first game from a completely new universe will launch – Chronicles of Magic: Divided Kingdoms will see players drawn into a fight between magical kingdoms. Both titles will debut on both mobile platforms and Steam.

The Future with Nintendo Switch and the Subscription-Based Model

Artifex Mundi is slowly approaching its gaming debut on the flagship Nintendo console.

“We don’t want to reveal too much at this point,” says Artifex Mundi producer Jarosław Kulik. “Our fans will need to wait just a little longer before we can release the premiere date and the name of the first title to appear on the Switch. I promise it’s going to be worth the wait.”

The company also plans to launch a completely new sales model of Hidden Object Games in the subscription-based model that will complement the traditional way of distributing Artifex Mundi games.

“For now, we’re testing different solutions and we’ll let you know more about that in the next few months,” says Krzysztof Korkus, the author and architect behind the new initiative.
