Artifex Mundi aims for PLN 60 million profit between 2021-2024

23.03.2021

The Management Board of Artifex Mundi proposes introducing a share-based incentive plan for the company’s key staff members. According to the assumptions of the plan, which will be put to the vote at the General Meeting held on April 21, Artifex Mundi may offer its staff members up to 730,000 shares (6.1% of the capital) in tranches within the next 4 years. The proposed issue price is PLN 9.01, which matches the company’s average exchange rate in the 4th quarter of 2020. In order for the maximum number of shares to be offered, the company has to generate at least PLN 60 million within the next 4 years and at least PLN 25 million between 2021-2022.

“After the record-breaking year of 2020, which, according to preliminary estimates, ended with revenues of PLN 25.7 million and a net profit of PLN 8.2 million, Artifex Mundi has the potential to increase its sales and generate even higher net profits in the coming years. One of the pillars of the company’s plans is the improvement of Artifex Mundi’s know-how, especially with regard to free-to-play. The adoption of an incentive plan for the company’s key staff members will strengthen the company’s human assets and its position in an extremely demanding job market,” states Przemysław Błaszczyk, President of Artifex Mundi.

The President of the publicly listed game developer and publisher informs that the minimum requirement for the plan’s activation entails generating a total net profit of PLN 46 million between 2021 and 2024. The goal of the plan is to generate at least PLN 60 million in this period. “It’s an ambitious but attainable goal. On the operating level, according to a conservative scenario, we envisage a slight decline in the profits from the HOPA segment, which will be more than compensated by the growing profits from the free-to-play segment. According to our assumptions, the driving force of their increase will be the development of the Unsolved application, which commercializes HOPA games on the basis of the F2P model. We also hope that by 2024, Artifex Mundi’s results will have been profoundly influenced by the commercialization of a new mobile RPG, which is being developed by an internal team of developers,” says President of Artifex Mundi.
