										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Artifex Mundi, a game developer and publisher listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, has revealed details of the studio’s strategic project. <em>Void Hunters</em>, a turn-based hero collector RPG set in a dark fantasy world, was officially revealed during the Future Games Show. Open alpha tests for the game will begin soon, and players interested in taking part can already sign up via the dedicated </strong><a href="https://discord.com/invite/voidhunters"><strong><em>Void Hunters</em></strong><strong> Discord server.</strong></a></p>
<p>The game was officially presented during this year’s Future Games Show, in the Future Games Show Live from GDC segment. The game’s trailer, shown during the event, is available <a href="https://youtu.be/EPmWPl0ocyc?si=-nynma7Z1qzqepG0">here</a>.</p>
<p><em>Void Hunters</em> is a turn-based, free to play hero collector RPG. Artifex Mundi will take players to a dark fantasy world where the team they create and develop will face the world-devouring Void. The replayable missions available throughout the game will provide opportunities to test the effectiveness of both strategy and team composition in battle. <em>Void Hunters</em> will uniquely combine traditional story-driven gameplay typical of the genre with roguelite-style missions called Hunting Grounds, during which player-developed characters will be able to obtain unique upgrades.</p>
<p>“<em>Void Hunters</em> focuses on challenging, engaging gameplay in a dark fantasy world where the game rewards planning, understanding of mechanics, and a tactical approach to team building. With clear satisfaction and excitement, we are entering the next stage of <em>Void Hunters’</em> development, finally able to share the results of our creative efforts with a wide audience of players and Artifex Mundi stakeholders. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>In the Q2, the game developer and publisher recorded a 6% year-on-year increase in revenues, up to 26.1 million PLN, with a 9% increase in the revenues from the flagship product &#8211; the <em>Unsolved</em> game, which amounted to 24.8 million PLN. Artifex Mundi’s investments in the <em>Unsolved</em> playerbase, which increased by 36% YoY and translate into the long-term revenue growth, reduced the company’s current viability.</strong></p>
<p>In the Q2 of this year, Artifex Mundi generated 5.4 million PLN in operating profit as compared to 7.1 million PLN the year before, closing the quarter with the 5.7 million PLN of the net income (6.9 million PLN in the Q2 of this year). Throughout the first half of this year, Artifex Mundi increased its revenues by 0.6 million PLN, up to 52.8 million, and recorded a 5% increase in the revenues from the Unsolved commercialisation, of up to PLN 49.7 million PLN. The company’s EBIT for the first half of the year amounted to 13.1 million PLN (15.2 million PLN the year before) and the net result decreased to 14.2 million PLN by just 0.2 million PLN.</p>
<p>Artifex Mundi’s greatest cost item are the player acquisition expenses for <em>Unsolved</em>, the unique <em>free-to-play</em> adventure game derived from the evolution of the listed company’s HOPA game portfolio. In the first half of the year they amounted to 29.8 million PLN, as compared to 25.6 million PLN in the previous year. The increase in the scale of profitable investments in the <em>Unsolved </em> player acquisition was made possible thanks to the use of new marketing channels in the Q2 of this year.</p>
<p><em>– Artifex Mundi’s strategic goal is to have two scalable free-to-play games with considerable commercial potential. From this perspective, I definitely consider the last quarter to be positive in terms of our performance. The work on the expansion of Unsolved to include the metagame and on the creation of a new RPG proceeds as intended and according to the schedule, bringing us closer to the moment of the market verification of the potential of both titles. The current financial results are not different than our assumptions, according to which the year 2025 is to be a period of business consolidation. <p>Lower advertising expenses resulting from its lower periodical profitability translated into lower sales revenues in the previous month. They amounted to 7.3 million PLN, as compared to 8.3 million PLN the year before. Commercialisation of<em> Unsolved</em>, a unique <em>free-to-play</em> adventure game derived from the evolution of Artifex Mundi’s HOPA game portfolio, brought 6.9 million PLN in revenues and 3.7 million PLN in the gross margin in July.</p>
<p><em>– The Unsolved development strategy, including the building of community through player acquisition, remains unchanged. We have fixed, specific expectations as to the return on capital with respect to investment in the Unsolved playerbase, therefore we reduced the UA expenses in view of a seasonal change in KPIs and in the advertising market in July. <p>Commercialization of Unsolved, a unique free-to-play adventure game based on the evolution of Artifex Mundi’s HOPA game portfolio, generated nearly PLN 7.8 million in revenue in June (the level recorded the year before) and a PLN 3.8 million gross margin (13% more YoY). The results were significantly affected by a considerable, 8% YoY depreciation of USD, the Company’s settlement currency. Had the rate from June 2024 been used, the Unsolved’s commercialization revenue and gross margin would have gone up, respectively, by 10% and nearly 25% YoY.</p>
<p>– The results of Artifex Mundi for the previous quarter should be viewed positively.<em> The diversification of marketing channels beneficially influenced the effectiveness of player acquisition, which translated into the growth in the Unsolved’s user base and higher sales. Despite the depreciating US dollar, we recorded a considerable revenue growth in the previous quarter. The second quarter of the year was a success also as far as development is concerned. Metagame expansion of Unsolved and development of a new RPG are both on schedule for completion. Last month, the commercialization of Unsolved, Artifex Mundi&#8217;s flagship product, generated a record PLN 9 million in revenue, which is 18% more than the year before. </strong></p>
<p>Compared to April this year, Artifex Mundi&#8217;s revenues were up 5%, and commercialization of Unsolved alone generated revenues 6% higher. Player acquisition expenditures in the past period exceeded PLN 5.4 million, which is nearly 50% more than a year before and 21% less than in April this year. The gross margin (estimated as revenue less UA expenses) amounted to PLN 3.5 million last month.</p>
<p>&#8211; <em>As expected, the intensive marketing campaign in April combined with rising key indicators for Unsolved translated into a satisfactory increase in game commercialization revenues. We are satisfied both with the sales results achieved in May and the marketing activities conducted during that period, which for the most part were very intensive. We assume that the expanded player base of Unsolved combined with its progressively expanded commercial potential will allow us to achieve attractive margins from the commercialization of the game in the holiday months</em> &#8211; commented <strong>Przemysław Błaszczyk</strong>, <strong>CEO of</strong> <strong>Artifex Mundi</strong>.</p>

Revenues from the commercialization of Artifex Mundi&#8217;s flagship product, Unsolved, increased to PLN 24.9 million, with a slight decline in total sales to PLN 26.7 million. In April this year, the revenues generated by the commercialization of Unsolved increased by 9% YoY to reach PLN 8.5 million, bolstered by record high investments in user acquisition.</strong></p>
<p>According to preliminary estimates, Artifex Mundi entered the second quarter of this year with PLN 32.2 million in accounts. Some of the listed company’s financial resources were used this April to significantly increase its investment in the player base for Unsolved, which amounted to PLN 6.9 million last month, i.e. 33% more than in March this year and 66% more than the year before. Since the beginning of the year, investments in Unsolved&#8217;s player base have increased by 15% to PLN 20.8 million.</p>
<p>Przemysław Błaszczyk, the CEO of Artifex Mundi, emphasizes that the increased investment in user acquisition has successively converted into higher commercialization revenues for Unsolved. <em>&#8211; We are working systematically to reach new groups of users for Unsolved, while maintaining the expected rates of return on these investments. After a decent (from the perspective of scaling Unsolved’s player base) and financially successful first quarter in April we intensified our marketing activities by, among other things, reaching potential customers via new channels. Artifex Mundi&#8217;s flagship product, Unsolved, accounted for the dynamic growth of the company’s performance. Revenues from the commercialization of that game increased in the past year by 34% up to PLN 95 million.</strong></p>
<p>&#8211; <em>For another year in a row, we managed to improve our financial results at every key level. Despite, among others, the less favorable situation on the foreign exchange market as compared to the past years, we recorded a high, double-digit increase in sales, which was driven by the development of the Unsolved application. We estimate that the game’s commercial potential as measured by the LTV increased in 2024 by about one-quarter. This improvement, alongside the fuller advantage taken of the Unsolved development achieved in 2023, allowed us to increase investments in the game&#8217;s player base even at the time of the growing costs of online advertising </em> – says <strong>Przemysław Błaszczyk, the CEO of Artifex Mundi</strong>.</p>
<p>The listed company’s CEO emphasizes that 2025 is marked for Artifex Mundi by the final stage of the development work carried out as part of two strategic projects &#8211; the new RPG game and creation of the so called metagame for <em>Unsolved</em>. – <em>The work performed under both projects proceeds as planned. We assume that its first measurable financial advantages will be recognized in 2026. The goal for 2025 is to maximize revenue from the currently commercialized products, including to continue to improve profitability of the current version of Unsolved, which is increased, among others, by expanding the contents and implementing lesser modifications – </em><strong>Przemysław Błaszczyk</strong> adds.</p>
