The composer of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango creates music for Irony Curtain!

The first Irony Curtain gameplay glimpses are out in a brand new trailer from Artifex Mundi! But that’s not the end of exciting new – renowned composer Peter McConnell joined forces with Arek Reikowski to compose the score for the bestest country on the Earth.

A veteran composer in the world of video games music, Peter is best known for his contributions to the golden age of LucasArt classics, such as the Monkey Island series, various Star Wars games, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle etc. He has also contributed to other know titles such as Hearthstone, Valiant Hearts and multiple Double Fine games such as Broken Age and the Psychonauts series. Along with Arkadiusz Reikowski, known best for his work on Layers of Fear and Kholat and My Brother Rabbit, they have composed an original score, which will frame the action of Irony Curtain.

IRONY CURTAIN: FROM MATRYOSHKA WITH LOVE is a satirical adventure game inspired by the classics of LucasArts and Daedalic Entertainment. It will take you for a spin on a spy intrigue in a fictional Cold War setting, visit the in-your-face communist country of Matryoshka, where the socialist vs capitalist stereotypes have been taken to nuclear levels.

The puzzles in Irony Curtain are built around logic and the ability to solve them in multiple ways. The game features hand painted backgrounds, wacky, well-written characters, full, professional English voice acting along with German and Polish subtitles.

The music is available now on Soundcloud and Bandcamp and soon on iTunes and Spotify.

Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love: is coming to Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in Q2 2019 and will cost 19.99 / 19.99 EUR.
