Artifex Mundi closed May with an intial margin of 4.6 million PLN

07.06.2024

In May this year, the game developer and publisher generated 8.3 million PLN in revenue in comparison to 8.5 million PLN in April and 6.5 million PLN in the previous year. Artifex Mundi’s initial margin (revenue less than marketing expenses) increased by 7% in the month-to-month perspective and by 40% compared to May 2023.

In the previous month, Artifex Mundi invested just under 3.7 million PLN in user acquisition for Unsolved in comparison to 4.2 million PLN in April this year and 3.2 million PLN in May 2023. Lower marketing expenses result from the observed increase in the market advertising rates in the second half of April. The lower intensity of marketing actions affected the revenue from the commercialization of Unsolved, the company’s flagship product. With the average daily expenses on user acquisition lower by 15% (in the month-to-month perspective), the average daily revenue from Unsolved decreased by 6%, to 245,000 PLN.

– Irrespective of the situation in the advertising market, which is beyond our control, we are constantly implementing the Unsolved development plan that assumes, among others, the increase in the game’s LTV by a double-digit percentage. Our attitude to the forthcoming months is positive, despite a time that is more challenging for advertisers – says Przemysław Błaszczyk, the CEO of Artifex Mundi.
