Artifex Mundi. Unsolved is not slowing down

07.05.2021

In April, the publicly listed game developer and publisher increased its sales by 59%, closing the month with revenues of PLN 4.1 million. Since the beginning of the year, Artifex Mundi’s estimated revenues have increased by 78%, reaching PLN 14.6 million. The reason for the dynamic increase in the Group’s revenues was the commercialization of the Unsolved application – which in March generated 46% of the company’s revenues and over 40% in 2021.

Unsolved is a mobile application that offers players the chance to play some of the HOPA games available in Artifex Mundi’s portfolio for a limited time (based on usable energy, which is slightly renewed every day and can be purchased in the application). The app, available on Android and iOS, offers access to 14 recognizable HOPA titles.

Since the beginning of 2021, Artifex Mundi has been regularly acquiring players for Unsolved. The company spent PLN 1.5 million on advertising campaigns on Facebook in the previous month and PLN 4.4 million from the beginning of the year. In 2021, the company plans to upgrade the application by adding new features that will open up its monetization possibilities, such as ads, a gift pass, premium currency, and social options (meta-achievements), as well as to expand the range of advertising campaigns with new channels – Google, Unity Ads, and IronSource.

“The results achieved last month are in line with our assumptions for 2021, which will be marked by Unsolved’s development. The expenditures for Unsolved’s advertising are recouped at a satisfactory rate, barely over ten months after the start of work. The application not only generates a significant portion of the Group’s revenues but also considerably contributes to its profits. We expect Unsolved’s winning streak to last through the coming months,” says Przemysław Błaszczyk, President of the publicly listed company.
