Artifex Mundi’s revenue increased by over one third

07.05.2024

In April this year, the developer and publisher of games generated 8.5 million PLN in revenue in comparison to 6.3 million PLN in the previous year. The revenue from the commercialization of Unsolved , the company’s flagship product, increased by almost 50% YoY to reach 7.8 million PLN, with marketing expenses up 34%.

In April, Artifex Mundi invested just under 4.2 million PLN in user acquisition for Unsolved in comparison to 4.9 million PLN in March this year and 3.1 million PLN in April 2023. Lower month-to-month marketing expenses result from a noticeable increase in the market advertising rates in the second half of the previous month. Limiting the scale of marketing campaigns impacted the revenue from the commercialization of Unsolved. In April, the average daily revenue from the game amounted to 260,000 PLN in comparison to 285,000 PLN in March this year (9% less) with a more than 12% reduction in the average user acquisition expenses.

 – We closed April with a strong double-digit revenue increase and gross margin (revenue minus marketing costs), which in the previous month amounted to over 4.3 million PLN. We are continuously monitoring the situation on the global online advertising market and adjust the scale of our actions to market conditions. The data obtained in the past few days suggests that the peak increase in prices is now over. We hope that in a few weeks we will be able to intensify our marketing campaigns for Unsolved to strengthen the user base even more – commented Przemysław Błaszczyk, CEO of Artifex Mundi.
