Strong start to 2024 for Artifex Mundi

06.02.2024

The WSE-listed game developer and publisher isn’t slowing down. In January 2024, Artifex Mundi reached a record-breaking 9 million PLN in revenue, which is almost double the amount recorded in January 2023 and 22% more than in December of the previous year.

As announced, the beginning of the new year saw a significant boost in investment in user acquisition. The investments amounted to a record-breaking 4.5 million PLN in comparison to 2.4 million PLN in the previous month and 2.2 million PLN in the year before.  The gross margin, i.e., revenue minus user acquisition expenses, reached 4.5 million PLN, compared to 5.0 million PLN in December 2023 and 2.4 million PLN in the year before.

The flagship product of Artifex Mundi, Unsolved, an application offering its users free-to-play access to some of the best HOPA games from Artifex Mundi’s portfolio, increased its YoY revenue in January this year by 146% to 8.0 million PLN, reaching 3.5 million PLN in gross margin, which is three times the amount obtained in the previous year.

After a very successful 2023, we aren’t slowing down. In fact, we have the ambition and potential to again provide our stockholders with reasons to be satisfied that they are a part of our project. We are pleased with our results from January, both in financial and operational terms. Our goals for the coming months include, among others, the consistent implementation of the development plan for Unsolved, which creates space for the further dynamic growth of investments in building the user base and enhancing the profitability of our product – commented Przemysław Błaszczyk, CEO of Artifex Mundi.
