According to preliminary estimates, in December 2022, Artifex Mundi’s revenues increased by 14%, reaching PLN 3.1 million. The company’s driving force remains the Unsolved application, whose revenues in the last month of 2022 increased by 61%, reaching PLN 1.8 million.
In December, the revenues from the free-to-play segment increased by 37% YoY, reaching PLN 2.0 million. Most of the segment’s revenues were generated by Unsolved, which provides players with free-to-play access to some of the best HOPA games available in the Group’s portfolio. In December, its revenues were higher by PLN 0.7 million YoY, with player acquisition expenditures higher by PLN 0.4 million.
In the entire year of 2022, Artifex Mundi’s revenues amounted to PLN 38.6 million, compared to PLN 39.1 million the year before. In that period, the sales of the free-to-play segment increased by 22%, reaching PLN 25.1 million, while the revenues generated by Unsolved increased by 31%, reaching PLN 22 million.
“The past year was yet another period of consistent development of Artifex Mundi’s free-to-play segment, upon which we are building the company’s future. We’re reaching subsequent milestones on the path to the company’s transformation into an F2P game developer and publisher. The effort that we put in the development of Unsolved last year translated into a significant improvement of the app’s scale and profitability, which was heralded by Unsolved’s results in the 4th quarter,” says Przemysław Błaszczyk, President of the publicly listed company.
