According to preliminary estimates, the WSE-listed game developer and publisher closed the last quarter of 2023 with an over 160% increase in revenue to 23.3 million PLN, generating a record-breaking 10.8 million PLN of recurrent net profit. In the entire past year, Artifex Mundi’s revenue increased by 44 million PLN to 82.5 million PLN with an 86% increase in the recurrent net result to 25.5 million PLN.
The driving force behind Artifex Mundi’s enhanced results is the key product of this listed company, Unsolved, which offers its users free-to-play access to some of the best HOPA games from Artifex Mundi’s portfolio. Revenue from Unsolved increased by 222% to almost 71 million PLN. The gross margin of the application (revenue minus user acquisition expenses) increased by almost 21 million PLN to 30 million PLN.
These unprecedented results reinforced Artifex Mundi’s financial standing. The company’s cash increased by 35% to 29 million PLN in the past year (including short-term investments in bonds) with simultaneous investments in the development of two strategic company projects, i.e., Unsolved and a new free-to-play RPG.
– The last year was unquestionably the best period in the history of our company, both in terms of financial performance and operational achievements in what we see as the key business areas. We aren’t slowing down! On the contrary, we set ambitious goals for 2024, which we are consistently pursuing. January 2024 ended with more record monthly sales and gross margin. In February, we recorded daily sales of over 0.3 million PLN for the first time. We consistently implement the company’s development strategy intended to significantly increase Artifex Mundi’s value for the shareholders – commented Przemysław Błaszczyk, CEO of Artifex Mundi.
